Prerequisites 

Prerequisites vary according to degree level. Undergraduate applicants are required to have a high school diploma or have completed the General Educational Development (GED) test. 

Applicants for a master’s level program must have an earned bachelor’s degree from an approved school. Additional prerequisites are as follows:

Applicants Must:


  • Be at least eighteen (18) years of age


  • Be a born again believer according to the Scriptures of the Holy Bible.


  • • Live a separated and consecrated life, expressed in a consistent prayer life and holiness of character.


  • • Adhere to the Doctrinal Qualifications For Students


  • • Complete an Application for Admission (A nonrefundable application fee must accompany application). 


All applications are reviewed by WOLS and, upon acceptance, degree-seeking student will receive an Academic Program Acceptance Packet

Academic  Records 

At the time of enrollment, new applicants must submit a copy of high school diploma or GED. In addition, applicants must submit official transcripts from all colleges attended. The high school and GED requirements will be waived if the student has earned an associate degree or is transferring sixty (60) or more credit hours.

To validate program prerequisites and transfer credits (if applicable), official transcripts are required within sixty (60) days of enrollment. Copies or student-issued transcripts may be used during the enrollment process for preliminary evaluation; however, they are not considered official. Official transcripts must be requested (by students) from the previous educational institution(s) and sent directly to WOLS via postal mail. An official transcript is defined as a transcript received in a sealed envelope and is stamped official.

WOLS minimum acceptable Grade Point Average (GPA) is 2.0 on a 4.0 scale. Applicants who fail to meet the minimum required GPA will be evaluated and may be admitted on Academic Probation status for at least two (2) semesters.
